The ground-breaking ceremony for the extension of the community school Thundorf, with classrooms on the upper floor and a kindergarten in the basement, was on March 26th, 2015. The building was occupied for the first time on May 20th, 2016.
Emphasis should be placed on the ecological and functional architecture and infrastructure that ensure the well-being of pupils and teachers. It has been fitted with heating panels, column radiators and Ascotherm trench convectors .
