The extension to the German National Library in Leipzig was opened in May 2011. More than 150 Ascotherm curved trench convectors were installed along the arc of the glass facade at the German National Library in Leipzig,

with a smoke exhaust system incorporated into part of the ductwork. Among others, the German music archives can be found here.
